WebDec 18, 2024 · I just built a decent rig for photo and video editing, I went with an i5 13600KF processor and RTX 3070 GPU. I put 32gb of RAM in it for the same reason your sister wants to, multitasking. Cost me about $1900 USD through CLX Gaming (I had a hard time finding a similar build for that price, and I even opted to overclock the processor and GPU). WebJan 25, 2008 · you really don't need to tbh. Since you got some nice wiggle room $ wise I would get some SSDs, 8 or 16gb ram, whatever decent cpu you can get (in hindsight I would go the Intel route AMD is ok, but unless you are buying ryzen cpus, they don't hold up when compared to intel) and a decent gpu like a 960.

WebApr 12, 2024 · But my life changed and I did not done that since. So now I need to come back and build a new one, oriented for photo editing, but I'm totally lost with new sockets. WebApr 13, 2024 · Looking to build a pc for photo and video editing on a budget. Is the 5600x enough for 4k video editing combined with a decent GPU? If not, what would be a good CPU/GPU combo for a budget build (~1k for cpu, gpu, memory, motherboard, and case) ? Can stretch the budget a bit if I need to but prefer to stay under if my options allow it. WebApr 14, 2024 · Building a video editing PC, better CPU vs GPU vs More RAM. I am currently building a PC. I have everything save for CPU and GPU ordered. I'm on a pretty tight budget and was planning to go with an i5 12400 (with iGPU) initially, and add a GPU like a 2060 Super later on. I currently also have only 16 gigs of RAM.
WebApr 13, 2024 · Hey all. Just wondering what the best GPU is to team up with my 5800x3d cpu. I have a 3440x1440 monitor and a silly amount of memory because i do a lot of video and photo editing. I currently have a 3080 RTX which is nice, but it's a cheaper model so the fans get crazy loud. If prices continue to drop, which GPU should I keep an eye out for ... WebIf you are only photo editing using photoshop and nothing else, I would recommend Intel since the iGPU in their CPUs can accelerate those tasks. If you are doing anything else on the PC, I would recommend AMD since they are significantly better overall (multi-core performance, security, newer architecture, etc.)
