WebI just flew on aircanada yesterday from Europe to US, I purchased premium economy seats and selected our seats maybe 9 months in advance. My husband and I were then put on the standby list. They kicked us out of premium economy, separated us, and put us in middle seats. They refused to talk to us about it at all. WebIn the event you don’t get on then you’ll be immediately rebooked and given priority on the next flight. Lol I checked in like 20 hours prior to departure. What I did is that I registered for Aeroplan and after registration I was immediately able to select a seat (there were like 6 available) and I was bumped to first place on the standby list.
