WebMay 11, 2024 · In the past I have had problems with the content library (ContentLib) in Configuration Manager taking up more disk space than it should. Orphaned files get left in the library over time as deployment packages are deleted. To remove any unneeded files, we can run a clean-up tool that is included in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.

WebIt seems like a much simpler process to just recover the site and then rebuild the content library by redistributing the content. From your perspective, yes, probably. From the perspective of ConfigMgr and the network, not even close. Rebuilding the content library is not done by redistributing the content, its done by *updating* the content.
